Working With Us
Do you produce custom designs, or only catalogue items?
Every piece is custom-produced. We manufacture to your approved drawings and specifications, in your selected materials, fabrics and finishes, to your brand standard. We do not require you to adapt your design to an existing range.
We have our own drawings — can you produce from them?
Yes. Production from client-supplied drawings is our standard way of working. Provide your drawings and specifications together with the material and finish schedule, and we manufacture to them in your selected materials, to your brand standard. Where a drawing is incomplete, or a detail is not buildable as drawn, we raise it with you before production rather than after — subject to final technical review.
What is the lead time for custom or bespoke production?
Custom production to your specification runs 6 to 8 weeks, plus transit. Items from our in-house range run 4 to 6 weeks, plus transit. Sample approval sits ahead of the production run, and the full programme is confirmed per project, based on current industry norms.
What do you need from us to begin a custom production?
Approved drawings or a clear design intent, the material and finish schedule, quantities per item, the delivery location and your target date on site. With those in hand we can issue a quotation and a production programme. Where an element is outstanding we will tell you what is missing rather than assume it, as per specifications provided.
Do you work to hotel brand standards?
Yes. We produce to the brand specification supplied by the client or their FF&E consultant. Nature & Beyond International is an approved FF&E vendor to leading hospitality groups including Marriott, IHG, Hyatt, Shangri-La, Movenpick and Emaar — subject to each brand’s periodic review.
Do you supply only, or do you also install?
Both, depending on the item. Cabanas, pergolas and similar anchored structures are supplied and installed by Nature & Beyond. Loose furniture — sun loungers, dining sets, restaurant seating — is supply-only. We are a furniture supplier, not a fit-out contractor: we do not undertake built-in millwork, wall panelling, doors, ceilings or carpentry.
Do you work with hotel pre-opening programmes?
Yes. Pre-opening FF&E packages are a core part of our work — guest rooms, lobbies, F&B outlets, pool and beach areas. Hotel openings run to fixed dates, and our production scheduling is built around the client’s programme.
Can you handle both indoor and outdoor furniture on the same project?
Yes. We regularly produce complete packages spanning indoor dining rooms and outdoor terraces from a single set of approved drawings, which is what keeps two very different material sets reading as one continuous space.
Do you sell to individuals or retail customers?
No. Nature & Beyond is a B2B project supplier working exclusively with hotel developers, resorts, FF&E consultants and procurement teams on commercial-scale orders. We do not sell single-unit or retail quantities.
Do you provide samples before production?
Yes. Once an order is confirmed and before mass production begins, we produce samples for approval. This ensures the client, the designer and our production team are aligned on design, materials, finish and quality standard before the full production run is committed — which is where most disputes on colour and finish would otherwise arise.
What quality control do you carry out?
Quality is checked at three stages: materials and specification are verified before production begins, work is inspected during production, and a final check is carried out before dispatch. Sample approval sets the reference standard against which production is checked.
Will we have a dedicated point of contact?
Yes. A named coordinator is assigned to your project and manages it from order confirmation through production scheduling to delivery, so you are not passed between departments mid-programme.
Can you supply upholstery to fire-rating standards?
Yes, on request. Upholstery can be produced to recognised fire-rating standards where your brand specification or local regulation requires it. Please confirm the required standard at enquiry stage so it is built into the specification from the outset.
Materials & Climate
What materials do you work with?
Solid timbers including Grade A teak, powder-coated aluminium, stainless steel, marble and sintered stone, UHPC, rattan and rope-weave. Upholstery and canopy fabrics include Sunbrella and other premium performance textiles, with QDF quick-dry foam specified for outdoor cushions and mattresses.
Is your furniture suitable for Gulf climate conditions?
Materials are specified for sustained UV exposure, high ambient temperature, humidity and, for coastal projects, salt air. Outdoor canopy fabrics can be supplied with salt-water protective coating, high colour-fastness and anti-mould treatment.
Why does outdoor hardwood develop surface cracks?
Fine surface cracking, known as checking, is a natural characteristic of dense outdoor hardwoods such as Ipe and teak. It is a hallmark of authentic solid timber responding to thermal movement, not a defect. Timber supplied by Nature & Beyond is kiln dried and treated before production.
Commercial Terms
What are your payment terms?
50% advance on confirmation of order, and 50% balance prior to delivery at site. Production commences only after the advance payment is received.
What is your lead time?
Our in-house range of restaurant furniture runs 4 to 6 weeks, plus transit. Custom production to your specification runs 6 to 8 weeks, plus transit.
Both are measured from confirmation of order and final approval of finish. Those two dates belong to you, and everything behind them moves with them — which is why we ask for prompt sign-off rather than a long approval cycle.
As a working reference, a custom pool deck cabana package was produced, supplied and installed within six weeks. Lead times are confirmed against your project programme at proposal stage. Subject to final technical review and as per specifications provided.
Which currency do you quote in, and is VAT included?
Quotations are issued in AED. UAE VAT at 5% is shown separately in the commercial summary of every proposal.
What warranty do you provide?
Three years on structural defects and two years on finishes. The warranty excludes misuse, chemical damage and damage caused by third parties. Full warranty terms are set out in our standard terms and conditions, which are issued with every proposal.
What is the process if goods arrive damaged?
Claims must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery. Full terms are set out in our standard terms and conditions, issued with every proposal.
About Nature & Beyond
Which regions do you serve?
Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE, plus Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and the wider GCC. Our business development team is Dubai-based and available for on-site visits.
How long have you been operating?
Nature & Beyond International LLC was established in 2015 and operates from a showroom at M-15, Pyramid Center, Umm Hurair Road, Oud Metha, Dubai. TRN 100072724600003.
Do you hold stock, or is everything made to order?
Both — and the distinction is worth understanding, because it affects your programme.
We maintain our own in-house range of restaurant furniture, designed by Nature & Beyond and held in standard finishes. Where a project can work within that range, we move quickly: lead time is 4 to 6 weeks, plus transit.
Everything beyond that range is custom-produced to your specification. A piece made to your dimensions, your finish and your designer’s drawings exists only for your project, so by definition it is not held in stock: lead time is 6 to 8 weeks, plus transit.
That is a deliberate position, not a limitation. Producing to specification is what allows us to meet your brand standard, your selected materials and your designer’s intent — rather than offering you the nearest catalogue equivalent and asking you to accept the difference. Where a programme requires phased handover, we schedule production in batches against your dates.
In practice, most projects use both: our standard range where speed governs, custom production where the design does. Subject to final technical review and as per specifications provided.
Can you match a colour or finish we have already selected?
Yes, in one of two ways.
The most accurate is to a RAL reference, where your existing supplier or designer can provide one. Where no reference exists, we match to a physical sample you provide, and return our matched sample for your written approval before production begins. We are also glad to bring our finish swatches to site so the colour can be settled against the existing pieces directly.
Finish is signed off before mass production begins. This is the step that prevents the colour and finish disputes that are otherwise the most common problem on projects of this kind. Subject to final technical review.
Is your furniture suitable for beachfront and coastal locations?
Yes — and the specification changes for coastal sites.
For seafront and beach-club locations we would specify marine-grade aluminium rather than treated steel. Steel can be protected to perform well, but on a coastal terrace the protection becomes the weakest point: any breach in the coating allows corrosion to begin beneath the surface, and it is usually invisible until it lifts the finish. Aluminium carries no such risk.
We also specify stainless steel fixings on load-bearing points and a powder coating system suited to salt-air exposure. Based on current industry norms and subject to final technical review.
Working With Procurement & Pre-Qualification
How do you demonstrate your track record to procurement teams?
We maintain a project dossier covering completed hospitality, residential and mixed-use installations across the UAE and the wider GCC, setting out the property type, the scope of goods supplied, the region and the completion period. It is shared with procurement and pre-qualification teams at the appropriate stage of an enquiry. Where a client has asked that their property not be named publicly, we respect that — discretion is part of how we work with international operators.
Are the project images you show real installations?
Yes. The photography in our project records is taken on site following installation. It is not rendered imagery and it is not catalogue photography. Where a property has restricted photography of its premises, we say so plainly rather than substituting a stock image.
How do you work with tender and pre-qualification committees?
Nature & Beyond International LLC is a UAE-registered company trading since 2015, with an established record of supply to international hotel groups, developers and contractors across the UAE and the wider GCC. Where a committee operates a formal pre-qualification process, we complete their standard documentation in the ordinary way, subject to final technical review. Commercial records held between Nature & Beyond and our clients remain confidential to those parties.
What company information is included with a quotation?
Our proposals are issued on company letterhead carrying our full trade details, including our TRN, together with the material and finish specifications for the items quoted, delivery terms and our standard commercial terms. Any further company information is provided where a client’s procurement process formally requires it, as per specifications provided.
Do you supply residential and mixed-use developments, or hotels only?
Both. Hospitality FF&E is our core market, and we also supply residential towers, serviced apartments and mixed-use developments — typically for amenity floors, terraces, pool decks, landscape zones and common areas — on the same supply-only basis.
Do you supply into Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC?
Yes. We are based in Dubai and supply across the UAE and the wider GCC, including Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Freight, applicable carrier surcharges and delivery terms are confirmed per project, as per specifications provided.
