Contract furniture for Oman’s hospitality projects

Oman’s coastline runs from the Musandam fjords to the Dhofar monsoon belt, and no single furniture specification survives all of it. Salalah’s khareef brings months of humidity and salt mist. Muscat’s summer brings the same solar load as Dubai. Desert camps and mountain lodges add wind, dust and thermal swing. Furniture specified for a temperate catalogue fails here within two seasons.

Nature & Beyond International manufactures hotel and resort furniture to the client’s own drawings, in the client’s own selected fabrics, to the property’s own dimensions, under our own quality control in a dedicated production facility working exclusively to our specification. Every piece is made to order. Nothing is stock, sourced or rebadged.

What we manufacture for Omani projects

Sun loungers and daybeds in Grade A teak or marine grade aluminium with quick dry reticulated foam and solution dyed acrylic cushions. Cantilever and centre pole umbrellas with heavy duty bases. Powder coated cabanas and pool deck seating. Outdoor dining sets, sofas and modular seating. Indoor restaurant seating, banquettes, lobby and lounge furniture, guestroom loose furniture and select furniture grade joinery. Concrete and timber benches for public realm and landscape packages.

Specified for the Gulf, stated to the number

Powder coat at 60 micron minimum with salt spray performance stated to ASTM B117 in hours. Grade 316 stainless steel for coastal exposure. Kiln dried timber at 12 to 16 per cent moisture content. Fire performance for upholstery stated to EN 1021 parts 1 and 2 or BS 5852 Crib 5 where the specification calls for it. Martindale abrasion and ISO 105 B02 colourfastness stated per fabric. Where a test report does not exist, we say so rather than invent a figure.

How an Oman order runs

Drawings, specification and quantities are taken off your own documents. A sealed sample or first article is approved in writing before the batch is cut. An inspection and test plan runs through production with hold points. Pre shipment inspection at AQL 2.5 is offered with one full cycle at our cost. Goods are packed and crated for road or sea freight into the Sultanate, with a packed volume schedule issued against the quotation so freight is calculated on cubic metres, not estimated.

Scope: loose furniture, fixed furniture and select furniture grade joinery, manufactured, delivered and installed by our own team. We do not undertake fit out, built in millwork or on site installation. Freight, duty, clearance and delivery to site are stated per project and are subject to final technical review. Payment terms are 50 per cent advance on confirmation of order and 50 per cent prior to delivery. Prices are quoted in AED unless agreed otherwise.
