Qatar builds to a high specification and inspects to it. Procurement teams in Doha issue a bill of quantities, a design intent and a material schedule, and expect every line answered with a standard and a number rather than a word. Nature & Beyond manufactures hotel, resort and residential furniture to the client’s own drawings, in the client’s own selected fabrics, to the property’s own dimensions, under our own quality control in a dedicated production facility working exclusively to our specification. Every piece is made to order. Nothing is stock, sourced or rebadged.

What we manufacture for Qatari projects

Pool and beach furniture: sun loungers and daybeds in Grade A teak or marine grade aluminium, quick dry reticulated foam, solution dyed acrylic cushions. Cantilever and centre pole umbrellas with heavy duty bases. Powder coated cabanas and pool deck seating. Outdoor dining sets, sofas and modular seating for terraces and rooftops. Indoor restaurant seating, curved and built in upholstered banquettes, lobby and lounge furniture, guestroom loose furniture, and select furniture grade joinery. Concrete and timber benches for landscape and public realm packages, including compound and garden furniture for residential developments.

Specified for the Gulf, stated to the number

Powder coat at 60 micron minimum with salt spray performance stated to ASTM B117 in hours. Grade 316 stainless steel for coastal and poolside exposure. Kiln dried timber at 12 to 16 per cent moisture content. Fire performance for upholstery stated to EN 1021 parts 1 and 2 or BS 5852 Crib 5 where the specification calls for it. Martindale abrasion and ISO 105 B02 colourfastness stated per fabric. Technical compliance statements are answered line by line, with any deviation disclosed on its own line. Where a test report does not exist, we say so rather than invent a figure.

How a Qatar order runs

Drawings, specification and quantities are taken off your own documents. A sealed sample or first article is approved in writing before the batch is cut. An inspection and test plan runs through production with hold points. Pre shipment inspection at AQL 2.5 is offered with one full cycle at our cost. Goods are crated for sea freight to Hamad Port or road freight into Qatar, with a packed volume schedule issued against the quotation so freight is calculated on cubic metres, not estimated.

Scope: loose furniture, fixed furniture and select furniture grade joinery, manufactured, delivered and installed by our own team. We do not undertake fit out, built in millwork or on site installation. Freight, duty, clearance and delivery to site are stated per project and are subject to final technical review. Payment terms are 50 per cent advance on confirmation of order and 50 per cent prior to delivery. Prices are quoted in AED unless agreed otherwise.
