The Brief
Beachfront shade is the hardest test outdoor furniture faces in this region. Salt-laden air, direct sun, wind loading and sand abrasion act on every component at once. Standard umbrellas fade, corrode and grow mould long before their expected service life.
The resort needed shade that could cover a large seating area from a single point, hold its colour, and survive an environment that destroys ordinary equipment.

Engineered for Beachfront Conditions
360° rotation was central to the brief. A fixed umbrella shades one spot at one time of day. A cantilever that rotates through a full circle follows the sun and covers a far larger area from a single base — fewer units, cleaner sightlines, more usable deck.
Salt-water protective coating on the canopy fabric. Salt air is relentless: it degrades untreated fabric, attacks fixings and accelerates fading.
High colour-fastness. On a beach in direct Gulf sun, canopy colour is the first thing to go. A faded canopy makes an entire beach club look neglected, regardless of how new everything else is.
Anti-mould treatment. Humidity and salt spray create conditions where untreated fabric grows mould from the underside — often unnoticed until the canopy has to be replaced entirely.
