Yes. Outdoor furniture is specified for continuous exposure to UV, heat, humidity and salt or chlorinated water. Frames, timber, weave and fabrics are selected against the exposure of each position, as per specifications provided.
Surface checking in dense outdoor hardwood is a natural characteristic of the material, not a defect. Final production is kiln dried and treated, and thermal movement in outdoor conditions is normal and expected in solid timber.
